“I need 3 bids before I can hire anybody.”

While there’s nothing wrong with comparing quotes, nothing takes the place of working with a team who has your best interest in mind above and beyond whatever the cost of work may be. Your landscape design and construction project is a creative effort, and there is no way to compare apples to apples bids without leaving out multiple, very important, yet subtle variables. Reality is, you just don’t know how things are going to go on your project, no matter who you hire. And a low price is more often than not an indication of a lower quality of service. So, if you do want to compare quotes, and you do get our price, and it’s higher, keep in mind, there’s a reason. A good reason. And it’s not just because we are making more money either. It’s more likely because we are doing more work for you to accomplish the same result. Think on that for a minute. If it all looks the same to you when it’s done, why would you pay more for someone like us to do it? Some people just won’t. Makes no sense, they say. But a savvy investor home owner type knows they will regret not doing the right thing in the right way, and feel the pain of that frustration and resentment, so much longer when they experience the challenges of having made that decision, than the far more simple, temporary sting of a higher financial cost, for the certainty of work done the way it really could and should be done, without all the trouble associated with call backs and nagging someone to return and fix things for months after the job should have been done and peace restored to the property. No, you certainly don’t want to go that route. So again, just ask yourself… what is a budget amount you can sleep well without, knowing it’s been wisely invested into your landscaping? Help us understand that number, and we will make sure your project is planned in the best way possible to accommodate you at that budget. Really couldn’t be more simple than that. You don’t need to go around spending a ton of time comparing quotes that all have different factors and variables, trying to decide who is the most sincere, who is the most professional, trustworthy, committed.
