“We got a quote for half your price from someone else.”

Believe it or not, we hear this all the time… and we’re not afraid to discuss it here… because, at the beginning of the project, that’s what everyone wants to hear. It’s like, you’re hoping to find someone to tell you they can do it for half the price… and so, you go on a mission to find them, and before you know it, there they are… smiling, promising, assuring you it’ll all be okay… and at half price! How could you possibly say no to that? Well, try to remain disciplined, because this happens more often than many people realize… and at the end of the project, those same people usually report something like: “My project cost double what they told me and took twice as long!” We would much rather present a transparent image to you of what realistically will happen when you choose to start working on your project with our team, and thus will help you come up with a number that works for you before we know all the exact ins and outs of the work. Then we will plan a project around that budget that includes as many of the things you are hoping to have included when the work is finished as possible.
